Sending out survey requests using your SurveyLocal dashboard is a quick and easy process. With just a few steps from you and us doing the rest, you can become the best rated business in your area!
1. Send to prior customers
First, you should start with a large list of prior customers to get a jump start on survey responses. We recommend sending out your past 6 months worth of customers. To do this, all you need to do is export your customer information into a .csv or Excel file in the format pictured in your dashboard, and then import that list into SurveyLocal. Have repeat customer? No problem, we will automatically remove duplicate names and emails. Just hit the send button and we do the rest for you! This allows you to get a large amount of results immediately, and then we will move on to getting a constant stream or reviews from your current customers.
2. Begin sending to current customers
Next, you want to start reaching out to your present/new customers. Find a schedule that fits your time/business best. If you can send a customer an email same day as they use your services, awesome! If weekly is more attainable, great! Whatever schedule you decide on, try to be consistent so you get consistent results. This should be done in addition to reaching out to your past customers, until you have sent out, then you just continue reaching out to your new customers regularly.
Response Rate
When these methods are executed in this manor, our clients average a 30% survey response rate, with an average of 10% ending up on a 3rd party review site, like Google+, Yelp, etc.
